Gino has amassed considerable marine management experience which includes 10 years experience in shore based marine safety and operations management with Swire Shipping and FedNav International and 20 years as a deck officer and shipmaster.
His roles have involved the development of business strategies and processes, establishment of policies and programs, preparation of budgets, operational budget commentary and re-forecasts, contracts management, risk management, occupational health & safety, project management and ensuring appropriate staffing levels to meet business demands.
Gino’s key strengths include lateral thinking, strategic planning, technical and practical approach to problem solving, quantitative analysis of operations, working in teams and an intrinsic bias towards planning, scheduling and organising.
